With the fast, competitive and stressful lifestyles we have, depression is almost like a part of every individual. It is very common especially among the adults.
Depression should not be considered a weakness. Though no matter how simple the treatment is to some, people should recognize first the cause of the problem. Then from there, one should be more than willing to talk about it to someone they give their trust to. By doing so, it reduces the risk of danger to oneself or others.
Easier said than done, but one thing I am sure about is to stay positive. You may cry all night long to ease the pain but remember to gather yourself the next day, ready to face the truth and move on.
I am now so depressed and frankly, I don't know how to face it yet. I feel like the whole world is on my shoulders. My dreams are shattered in an instant just because of that medical exam. But I know I will be good...I'll be ok. It may not be tomorrow, but I know it's gonna be soon. HE has my back. HE has better plans for me. And I believe. I just have to wait...in HIS time.
Thank you dear God for being there.

not for me!
If it's not really for you, then it's not! Don't push it.
Kakalungkot lang.
Depressing but maybe God has his reasons why it happened. I'll wait for it Lord, I will. Even if it takes forever.

Five Tips for Your Success
Can you be wrong? Can you handle the truth?
1. To succeed, face the fact that you are sometimes wrong. Get rid of any ideas that you must always be right about everything.
2. Show you are more interested in being correct than "right." Be proud when you discover you are wrong. You are learning from experience and expanding your knowledge.
3. When you make a mistake or are wrong about something, be the first to admit it. Do it quickly and take a new, more accurate position. You are no longer wrong after you change your mind about an incorrect idea.
4. If people try to correct you, do not assume they are trying to make you wrong. Instead, assume they are trying to help you. If their intentions seem genuine, accept their help.
5. Replace your purpose of being right with more constructive purposes: helping people, increasing your knowledge, improving your job skills, earning more money, creating a valuable company and so on.
You succeed when you are willing to be wrong. You can then find the truth and be correct.
Give it a try. Be wrong about something today!

Singing and singing contests.
Singing is really a big part of every Filipino's life. It is one of our ways of relieving stress. I don't know what's with singing that makes us feel happy and cheerful. I myself is a self-confessed karaoke addict. It just gives me satisfaction and bliss. A catharsis, that is!
I am not really a good singer but I know WHO sings well and who just breaks eardrums. lol.
Since singing is like our way of life, singing contests are almost every where in the country. Some offer meager cash just to make ends meet. Some promise to realize a big dream...big time, like the ones we see on TV. So you see heart-breaking stories of contestants losing hope to have a better life. Some are true some are just plain publicity. True or fabricated, still a lot of people would vote for those who have the real talent.
Anyway, one example is Angeline Quinto who just won last night's grand showdown for the first ever Star Power, a search for a female Popstar hosted by the Megastar Sharon Cuneta. It was so popular that it trended world wide on twitter last night.
Frankly, she was my early favorite. I was touched by her story (I know a lot of Filipinos could relate to her as well). This girl doesn't only have a good story but also has a powerful voice. She can really sing, plus she looks like Regine Velasquez when the latter was still starting. She really deserves the title. I hope she makes it big in the industry and be given a big break, unlike what ABS-CBN did to Laarni Lozada.
Goodluck, Angeline!
